About the designer
Luca Dini has been active in the nautical world for twenty-five years and has specialized in the Interior and Exterior Design of pleasure boats. A fundamental element since 1987 in a prestigious Florentine studio, in 1996 he founded Luca Dini Design in Florence, leaving an unmistakable mark in the world of international boating.
The studio expanded with several branch offices and also dealt with general architecture, interior design, objects and numerous projects ranging from the residential to the automotive sector (see the collaboration with Lancia for the Lancia Delta Yacht Design Concept), to private- jet interiors and the installation dedicated to boating for of the well-known international furniture exhibition Abitare il Tempo (Verona, 2009). Dini has been signing several yacht designs with different well-known shipyards.
For generations, Rossi has been a family dedicated to working with metal, the experience which decorates with historical tradition the productive fabric of the ship works which began on the Tuscan coast, in Viareggio. Rossinavi is the company brand founded in 2007 from Cantiere Fratelli Rossi’s propulsive evolution, today carrying 35 years of operational experience specialized in hull construction and supply for third parties. Because of its history and tradition, Rossinavi has the benefit of experience and know-how under the same roof: this makes the shipyard and its mechanics’ workshop the place of creation and production for fourty metre-plus luxury yachts, these being works of art built to craftsman’s standards. Standards which tell, in numbers, of more than a hundred vessels between twenty four and seventy meters. Craftsmen’s experience, simplicity, elegance. Three principles of the constructive thought which animates each vessel labelled Rossi.
And unconditional love for the job and genuine care for the human relationships which grow up, real pillars of the whole productive process. In Rossinavi’s company and creative philosophy, the shared productive process is active synergy amongst all players: the client is involved from the start, from inception to delivery - and in the development of relationships - of the object of desire. And this means, first of all, ultimate satisfaction for a shared building work. The shipyard’s inimitable uniqueness, the North Star leading the craftsmen’s hands, is the capacity to fulfill the dreams of those who aspire to own a Rossinavi: the workshop can change at any time each detail of the project because this is its tradition. So in the workshop a piece is shaped, welded, an element which did not exist before is created. And it is because of this artistic specialty that the distinctive feature of each Rossinavi is an exclusive and unrepeatable character, as works of art are not replicable.
